Redundant Control System for a Sulfuric Acid Recovery Plant
A sulfuric acid recovery plant in Kazakhstan required a highly reliable automation system to support continuous operation in a chemically aggressive, safety-critical environment. With a large I/O count and strict uptime requirements, the control system needed full redundancy at both the controller and HMI levels to minimize operational risk.
